Bad Hippie, No Patchouli!

I've been tagged by Cara, everyone's favorite Hippie Mama, so here I am - for the second time today - posting my answers:

Ten Years Ago: The Beavis was just shy of two years old and I was a freshman in college. I was sleep-deprived and overwhelmed, but I was very happy to be back in school and juggling a full course-load while still having plenty of time to take care of my little man.

Five Years Ago: I got my first "real" post-college job. Holy crap! A degree in medieval literature actually landed me a job - with pay!

One Year Ago: I was one month into my new relationship with HWSRN and very, very happy indeed.

Five Snacks: Do you want the truthful version, or the perfect woman version? Hehehe. I'm pretty sure that I can't live without Nutella (by the spoonful), Reese's Peanut Butter cups, goldfish crackers, Dole mini fruit-cups, and tortilla chips with good gaucamole.

Five Songs I know the words to: Lola, Village Green Preservation Society, Waterloo Sunset, Death of a Clown, and Father Christmas - all by the Kinks. Other songs? Kathleen (Josh Ritter), Granddaddy (AJ Roach), Pony (Kasey Chambers), Suzie Blue (Ben Harper), and ... Amazing Grace (pick your favorite version).

Five Things I would do with $100 Million: I would pay off all my bills; buy a wonderful house for HWSRN, Beavis, and I; make sure my parents have enough money in their retirement funds; donate a huge chunk of change to charity; and (after buying yarn to my heart's content) give the rest to HWSRN so we could open our "dream" cafe/music house together.

Five places to run away to: Northern Michigan, San Francisco, Belgium, a monastery in Japan (for a week-long spiritual retreat), and...my imagination.

Five Things I would never wear: A bikini, a fur coat, high heels, parachute pants, or bermuda shorts.

Five Favourite shows: Law and Order, Law and Order: SVU, Monk, That 70s Show, and ... whoops! That's it!

Five Biggest Joys: HWSRN, The Beavis, my four cats, good books, and lazy, fall afternoons.

Five Favourite Toys: Knitting needles and yarn, my (borrowed) camera, my CD collection, my computer, and ... um, did I say knitting needles and yarn?
